Impact Assessment study on Open, Transparent and Merit Based Recruitment of ResearchersDec 1 2016
The study is commissioned by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission and is aiming to assess the factors impacting “Open, Transparent and Merit-based Recruitment of Researchers.”
The goal of this study is to identify the current status of recruitment processes of researchers in public institutions in all EU27 Member States and identify factors influencing the degree to which systems are open and transparent. The information will feed into a detailed cost-benefit analysis of legislative approaches promoting open, transparent and merit-based recruitment of researchers. NIFU has responsibility to investigate the status of recruitment processes of researchers at universities and research institutes in Denmark.
