What innovative Norwegian manufacturing firms do for promoting innovation

NIFU-paper 2011. The material presented in this paper shows that innovative Norwegian manufacturing firms use a number of different strategies and practices for promoting innovation, i.e. Norwegian firms are pluralistic. These finding are based on analyses of the responses obtained from a survey of the most innovative Norwegian manufacturing firms. The survey was a replication of the international MINEsurvey which has been undertaken in other parts of the world. In Norway, the survey obtained 65 responses, of these 56 responses were usable.
